My role as Founder + Creative Director

Projekt 26 was born after discovering a remarkable chapter of mid-century graphic design history waiting to be told. We launched in 2019, specialising in bold, beautiful works from the ‘Polish School of Posters’ with a mission to meet the surviving artists and promote this very special art movement.

I led all creative and strategic output. I developed the brand identity – designing the logo, website, print materials, packaging and photography – and wrote every word of copy, from product descriptions and blog posts to press releases, emailers and social media content. I also built and managed our e-commerce website (Squarespace), ran our social channels, handled PR and marketing, cultivated key relationships with collectors and clients, and oversaw the production of our in-house reprint series.

Within a few years, Projekt 26 became one of the UK’s leading voices in this area of vintage poster art – with a 24k+ Instagram following, an exclusive print series for The Conran Shop, a screen print collaboration with The Private Press, and retail partnerships with Glassette and King & McGaw. I also founded Projekt Mkt – the UK’s first dedicated vintage poster market – which ran twice a year from 2021 to 2024, attracting 2,000+ visitors and showcased collections from the country’s top vintage art dealers.

I’m incredibly proud of what I built and I learnt an enormous amount along the way, which I carry through to the projects I’m working on now.

Projekt Mkt

Launched the UK’s first ever specialist vintage poster market. Held over 3 days, twice a year, it featured around 10-12 curated vintage poster dealers and attracted around 2000 (incredibly lovely!) visitors. I handled all of the event planning, including the branding, related copy, artwork, PR and marketing.
